Insider Breach Calculator

The Insider Breach Calculator was an online tool used as part of a sales campaign. The calculator itself used data from different industries combined with the size of the user's business to determine the likelihood of a data breach. This calculator was hosted as a website landing page.

Project goals:

1) To refresh an existing campaign from old branding.
2) To encourage people to engage with the campaign.
3)To make it clear what we want people to do on the landing page

Keeping it simple

The design for the Insider Breach Calculator was intended to be very basic, to give clear instructions to the visitor. I believe simplicity is one of the main reasons why Google became more popular than its search engine competitors. This means that the key area of interest (where we wanted visitors to interact) was boxed for focus, with any extra supporting information existing outside of this. The CTA in yellow clearly stands out against the dark background. There are also social media buttons to encourage sharing.

Design for mobile

As with any web design, the mobile site should always be considered, as even for a B2B business mobile visitors account for a large proportion of traffic.
